The Forest of Dreams 2003 is one of many public sculptures by well known Adelaide artist Anton Hart. It was commissioned by Adelaide City Council. Hart has a reputation for bold and challenging works that utilise text, simplicity of design and robust materials. In this work he has used 80 mm thick laser cut steel plate letters, polished granite forms which double as seating, lighting and re-configured paving to complete the installation.
