Summary

Description
English: Built in the 1920s or 1930s, this three-story Art Deco-style commercial building is clad in sandstone with a wedge-shaped footprint, large sandstone parapet enclosing a low-slope roof, vertical window bays at the three floors of the outer bays featuring metal mullions, green marble spandrel panels, and a large two-story storefront window at the west side of the facade, three smaller recessed two-story window bays on the second and third floors of the middle of the facade, flanked by pilasters, with green marble spandrel panels and metal mullions, with three large Chicago-style windows below, and a large curtain wall at the entrance at the west end of the building, which is an addition with a different roof than the rest of the structure, with a vertical band of stone trim separating it from the other window bays, and a long band of stone trim wrapping around the sides and top of the portion of the facade containing window bays. The smaller facade along Huron Street has one window on each floor, much narrower than those along Roosevelt Plaza. The building is the largest structure on the south side of Roosevelt Plaza, and presently houses a variety of commercial office tenants.
