English: Ethnic map of the county (with data of the 1910 census). Key: red - Hungarians; light green - Slovaks; violet - Ruthenians; pink - Germans. Coloured dots in plain rectangles imply the presence of smaller minority populations (generally more than 100 people or 10%). Multicoloured rectangles imply cities and villages with multi-ethnic populations with the order of the stripes following the ethnic composition of the settlement. Some obvious mistakes of the census data were corrected i.e. the old Ruthenian communities of the Cserehát region were misidentified as Slovaks at the time. The Slovaks of Ó- and Új-Huta villages are also indicated on this map although they were missing in that particular census.
