Summary
| Description |
The line around the middle of the seats is ground level. When you enter, you walk up or down. The boxes of honor, where Hitler and his retinue sat during the 1936 Olympics, is in the center of the photo. The stadium was much changed by reconstruction in 2000-2004. It is now all seats, which reduced the capacity, and all seats are covered by a roof. I had planned to go to a soccer game on the day of my arrival in Berlin, which was a Saturday. There was a snowstorm overnight, and the game was postponed. |
