My most sincere THANKS to the thousands of you who paused to look at my balloon image, and more especially, my sincere thank you to those of you who have offered comments. I continue to learn and grow as a 'captured image' photographer as a result of learning from my friends, like you, who not only share their images on flickr, but take the time to offer critiques.

I am not now, nor will I likely ever be, a particularly creative or artistic photographer. I haven't even really scratched the surface of the world of photo manipulation available to photographers today....and, thus, I have learned to greatly appreciate and enjoy the wonderfully creative and artistic works of so many of my talented flickr friends. Call it envy if you will.

I have, however, been 'snapping pictures' and even thinking about composition, exposure, etc. for more than half a century, beginning with a Kodak Brownie camera given to me by an aunt when I was six years old. I continue to enjoy capturing some of the world around me to this very day, and I sincerely hope that, in some small way, some of you will enjoy an image or two from my "moments in time" of the parts of the world I have seen and enjoyed.
