I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to User talk:HeinzDoofenshmirtz has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Wikipelli Talk 18:43, 9 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Yin Yang Yo!. Users who edit disruptively or refuse to collaborate with others may be blocked if they continue.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Editors violating the rule will usually be blocked for 24 hours for a first incident.
  3. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes. Work towards wording, and content that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 21:30, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the editing pattern, this may well be User:HeinzDoofenshmirtz editing under a different account to try and avoid scrutiny; this user started editing just as HD was blocked for non-free content issues, has a nearly identical User page, and is making many of the same edits that HD made. I WP:AGF, and I know I can't call for a CU because it'd be called a fishing expedition, but it may warrant watching. rdfox 76 (talk) 03:07, 11 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Template:Disney theatrical animated features. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. TheRealFennShysa (talk) 17:52, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

March 2011

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Template:Disney theatrical animated features, you may be blocked from editing. TheRealFennShysa (talk) 21:35, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to List of recurring characters in The Simpsons. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Slon02 (talk) 19:52, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Blinky-Simpsons.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Blinky-Simpsons.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. • This has been orphaned because I removed it from the article it was in due to failure of WP:NFLISTS. Please do not restore the image. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 19:56, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've reverted your re-addition of this image to List of animals in The Simpsons. This is indiscriminate decoration of a list article, and violates WP:NFLISTS. If there was something remarkable about the appearance of this character such that it was reported by secondary sources, there would be an argument for inclusion of this image. This is absent. Please stop restoring this image. If you have questions, ask. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 14:11, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

November 2011

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Dr. Nick (The Simpsons) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Please observe that the current name of the article is the result of consensus reached at Talk:Dr. Nick (The Simpsons)#Requested move. To change it would require a new WP:Requested moves discussion. Orphaned non-free media (File:Bubbles PPG.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Bubbles PPG.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:01, 3 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Perry Platypus.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The file File:Professor Utonium PPG.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free image being used in a list of characters to "Give the appearance from the character". The use is decorative. Fails WP:NFCC#8

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
