List of Notable Puerto Rican Architects

Your contributions to the List of Notable Puerto Rican Architects have been reverted because of the following reasons: 1) Wikipedia policy requires that all additions to articles must cite and provide a reliable verifiable source for their inclusion - personal websites are not considered a reliable verifiable source. 2) Self-editing and self-assessing notability does not conform to Wikipedia policy. 3) The article establishes basic criteria for inclusion in the list (see discussion section) which an entry must conform. Thank you. Nonza (talk) 02:22, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • The addition of your name to the "List of famous Puerto Ricans" has been removed. There are simple instructions to follow, that even a child can understaand, Wikipeida policy requires that before adding a name to the list you must "provide" a reliable verifiable source which cites the person's notability and the person's link to Puerto Rico. Until you do this, you must refrain from adding the name to the list. Note: Twitter, My Space, Facebook, Wikipedia, nor personal websites are considered reliable sources. Newspaper articles, Magazine interviews and such are. Tony the Marine (talk) 03:19, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Ricardo Alvarez-Diaz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.
