Welcome to Wikipedia

Julia Child Wikipedia Page

-Is each fact referenced with an appropriate, reliable reference?

Yes, this Wikipedia page cites 53 different sources, most of which are reliable sources such as the New York Times and different biographies written about her, and they are all cited throughout the page.

• Is everything in the article relevant to the article topic? Is there anything that distracted you?

Yes, for the most part everything is relevant. They discuss her early life, and her involvement with WWII, and then everything she went on to accomplish in her career after that.

• Is the article neutral? Are there any claims, or frames, that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? The article doesn't say anything bad about Julia Child, however, even though everything else is only positive things, they are written in a factual way.

• Where does the information come from? Are these neutral sources? If biased, is that biased noted? Some may be biased, because some of the sources lean more towards a blog type article, however most of them I would say are not biased and come from news sources such as the New York Times and CNN. However I didn't find anything written on her page to be biased.

• Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? I think everything was well represented.

• Check a few citations. Do the links work? Is there any close paraphrasing or plagiarism in the article? Most of the links work and seem like credible sources, however there are a few links where maybe the article has been deleted because it goes to a page not found.

Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? No, everything seems up to date. Since she died in 2004, there wouldn't have been anything else to update about her life, and they do go on to list other things that she has been mentioned or tributed to such as the movie, Julia and Julie that came out in 2009.

I tried to give you feedback on your work so far, but there is nothing at all in your sandbox. Are you working in a different space? -- Sarah
