Regarding Editing Activities

Psssst, don't worry! I'm trying my best to gather lots of sources on Jun's music career, and currently writing a proposal on what to do against the current situation of the Jun Matsumoto page via Talk ;) I just want to warn you that Wikipedia discourages constant reverting, and you are in bigger trouble (unfortunately I can't go into details for now, who knows how organized the vandalists are...)! I think the appropriate action you should take rn is to research onto Wikipedia guidelines, do appropriate reporting if possible, and if you can, please also help me with gathering sources to improve on the page in the future! Have a nice day~ User: Suzu2309 suzuuu 06:55, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

thank you for informing.is this page visible to everybody?i wanted to ask about something to you?have a nice day too~ Loser circle (talk) 12:50, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean this talk page? It is technically available publicly, but feel free to ask! Suzu2309 16:30, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

firstly thank you so much suzu and others working at this for improving his wiki.just checked and well you're still editing but just wanted to add kindaichi is in movie section but it was drama.thing i wanted to ask was i firstly don't know how wiki works but i was thinking if while rewriting is it possible to add all life and career together and go by years so it will be kind of hard for others if they try to erase it again.well that was what i wanted to say but i don't know how it works.so.and also about moving stage if it's better to add with concert staffs but it looks nice already with edit and about directing he was officially credited as director in closing credit for 5×20 and arafes2020.also,will you be updating other members too and well expand in jun's career?sorry too long but these were all what i wanted to say before but it's all edited now and looks nice.thank you and i would be happy to help if you need.thanks.take care. Loser circle (talk) 16:42, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

also wanted to add can we also add links to his and arashi profile from jstorm in his external links? thanks. Loser circle (talk) 16:50, 19 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Noted! Thank you for all of your suggestion!! I've been busy irl so all the updating and sources gathering may take some time...I'll look for more helpful information from that Kanjam episode to be added! I am also looking for more sources for his other revolutionary stuff like re-arranging speakers/equipments in a way it doesn't block the fans' view, implementing the color changing for penlights, etc. Of course I'm also thinking of rephrasing/fixing some information that was already there (since 1/2021 and before) and slowly expanding contents for other members' pages also, and I actually haven't thought of adding his and Arashi's profile from JStorm, so thank you for all the suggestions! But again, I'm busy irl, so this whole process of adding as much details is gonna take some time, and the worst thing is that the vandals are still happening, so my top priority right now with Jun's Wikipedia is to prevent all the vandalisms...
But once again, thank you so much for your suggestions!!
Suzu2309 04:45, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

yes preventing is the top priority.also i wanted to say have you checked his japanese wiki page there, his list of dramas comes lined up first,if we could do similar here and make it concise and elaborate in career title i think that could work for them?and yes more about his concerts ideas must be added.and yes that kanjam episode gives us various knowledge about jun's production work.also thanks for giving your time for this and helping. Loser circle (talk) 05:59, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did check his Japanese wiki page but his career and early life comes first, then awards, and then his filmography, so it is pretty much almost like the English version. Currently I am gathering more sources on his acting career...BTW silly me this is not an appropriate place to discuss about a Wikipage's content! If you have any more suggestion, feel free to visit the Talk:Jun Matsumoto page. In case you are unfamiliar with how to use it, just go down to Talk:Jun Matsumoto#Recent Changes (where we are currently discussing about contents writing right now), and just add in your thoughts just like what we're doing right now in this talk page. See you there! Suzu2309 19:09, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

hi,there's also drama sp. hajimari no uta with eikura nana,2013 and eien no nispa, should we elaboarte them? and kindaichi is written in film section but kindaichi was a drama with a drama sp. and i meant if they keep on talking about actor then i thought if like in japanese wiki in a table it comes listed down his movies in introduction table then maybe they will stop erasing it.and in drama section should we add some of his mini dramas to elaborate?and i think we can add to elaborate acting career section that natsuniji,lucky7 and shitsuren were getsuku drama(it's listed in dramawiki page with their average ratings and getsuku is explained in wiki page). Loser circle (talk) 00:38, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

and i don't know i think i am ok with writing here.if i know some info i will leave you a message here.also he do talk about some concerts things like mj walk in astudio interview and should we also say he does dj too to elaborate?and if about moving stage being evolved now and used differently?but these seems just excessive info so i think we don't use it.i will leave a message here if i find something.thank you. Loser circle (talk) 00:48, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

also,i think jun was a host for the show minna no terebi/utawara for a short while. Loser circle (talk) 00:59, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

also,i think kindaichi was his first leading drama(if we don't count v no arashi). Loser circle (talk) 03:14, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

utawara has a wiki page. Loser circle (talk) 05:25, 21 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

hi suzu, just visited talk page and saw about comparisom with japanese wiki.sorry about that.i was hoping if his acting works comes listed up then they won't erase it i am really sorry for that.i hope everbody comes to same conclusion soon and his page could be ok.i don't understand why they are trying to delete his music career when he has given so much of his life for music.i hope everything be alright soon.sorry for long message and thank you again to everybody helping out. Hello!
Regarding the place to discuss contents about the Jun Matsumoto, personally I am quite laxed about this, but I think it's best to comply to Wikipedia guidelines. Plus, by using the Talk:Jun Matsumoto page, lots more constructive editors apart from myself (who's probably more knowledgable about Jun, using the Wiki, and more free than I am) would be able to see everyone's suggestions a lot more easily ;)
Regarding the Japanese wiki, according to a well-respected Wikipedia moderator in the talk page, whatever stated in the JP version should be irrelevant. While we're on this topic, a well-respected neutral editor and perhaps that previously mentioned well-respected mod put Jun Matsumoto into their watchlist, so if anything happens, they'd also take a very good care of the disruptive edits. There is a possibility that the page will get a higher protection level (that might even prevent myself from editing! But that high protection level is for the good so honestly I'm fine with that.)
Regarding elaboration on the two SP dramas...I think it's best to let lots more editors to hear about this idea. I see the pros of elaborating is that more information is welcomed, and the cons would be that it would take lots more space while unsure how useful would the elaboration is (but the pros probably outweighs the cons here). Regarding Kindaichi then whoops! Now I get what you mean! I was very tired few days ago so I kinda went "huh Kindaichi is indeed listed at the drama list" but now I get that you meant the filmography descriptions...Lemme change that too. Regarding the getsuku dramas, they did mention that Natsuniji is a getsuku drama, but for Lucky Seven and ChocoJun, I think it would be a nice detail to add, but idk how to phrase in a way that it does not sound repetitive. Also, if the fact that Jun stars in getsuku dramas is mentioned, I'll also consider adding the detail that 99.9 is a TBS Sunday drama, but the problem is unlike getsuku, TBS Sunday drama does not have their own English Wikipedia article and there's not enough English resources about how prestigious TBS Sunday dramas are, so again, maybe it's better to let more editors decide if this piece of information is worth adding or not.
Regarding Kindaichi again...since there's V no Arashi, I'm not too sure about saying that it's his first leading role apart from V no Arashi, but I think the mention that his breakthrough is from Kindaichi should suffice.
Regarding the TV show host part, I think I'll add those information in the "other venture" and also provide a "For more TV hosting as part of Arashi, see Arashi filmography" or something along the lines of that.
Regarding more concert stuff...On moving stage, uh, truthfully speaking I've been so focused on dealing with preventing vandalisms I still haven't checked out Kanjam...For DJMJ, from my understanding, it is an exclusive thing to Arashi concerts, and personally I do enjoy the DJMJ segments but...I really don't know how to add that piece of information eloquently; I know it would be a nice piece of information to add but I just don't know why I feel like there is something about adding that piece of information especially when I don't know how to make it sound, uh, convincing? For the MJ Walk, maybe I can make it sound like it's an "iconic performance", but I need to venture more into other artists' Wikipedia pages if that is appropriate. Because from my experience with Wikipedia pages on sporting athletes, it is normal, if not, encouraged to talk about the athlete's techniques/signature moves, so I'm kinda thinking that the MJ Walk would be something similar to that.
Once again, thank you for your patience!! Suzu2309 10:32, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

hi suzu, wanted to say that minna no terebi and utawara is same.the show was minna no terebi and later changed it's name to utawara later. Loser circle (talk) 12:19, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

suzu just wanted to get that info. suzu i hope you are taking proper rest and care.and that is a great news if moderators are watching it.thank you to them.and i thought about adding them in thought to elaborate acting career, eien no nispa was made in the anniversary of naming hokkaido and is nhk drama sp. and hajimari no uta was his first leading role in nhk drama sp after houken chosa and in some pages it says that the drama was made for the song furusato and nhk some anniversary sorry something like that not sure but they do sing furusato there and both were nhk drama sp.and sorry for not being of much help but  i can not write properly with all grammars and all sorry and also thank you so much for taking my suggestions into considerations. i think that's good to link to arashi varieties.and i think that would suffice. and yeah you should check out kanjam episode, really informative,it talks much about his concert production.and it's alright if we don't add all the dj,mj walk since those are exclusive to arashi concerts and getsukus just thought it up to elaborate those sections. hope you are taking proper rest and care.thank you. Loser circle (talk) 12:49, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

also,i think kattun were not regular host but kind of like regular guest, i've only watched some of the episodes so no idea about utawara.again thank you for all the time and help and hope you take care of yourself.stay safe. Loser circle (talk) 12:54, 22 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
