We are no longer a conservative evangelical church. It is tricky to provide proof for this. Our website - cclh.org.uk - says we are now just evangelical. You reference our previous parish profile which is now 4 years old. You reference the South East Gospel Partnership which we left earlier this year, although their website has not been updated to say this.

We are currently in the search for a new vicar and we need them to accurately understand where the church is coming from therefore please stop restoring us to the conservative evangelical page on wikipedia. Thank you :)

Thank you for the explanation. I'm sure when your parish profile/advert comes out, it will support this. I won't be re-adding it. I'm sure you can understand that Wikipedia needs references etc, and that some people have alternative motives to wanting things removed other than accuracy. Thank you for your intervention on my edits to this page, 11th-12th December. Sorry for any difficulties - editing Wikipedia does seem to be a lot more complicated than it used to be!
I would ask you to accept that I did declare my 'conflict of interest' with respect to my edits: I am IT Manager for the institution and had been asked by its Principal to clear up some old information, and said so in my comment about my edits (and no, there was no expectation of payment for this work). I did not express opinion, advertise or promote, but simply tried to fix some incorrect information.
I'm concerned also that in undoing my work, you have reinstated old, inaccurate information - and I'd also point out that the understandable need to link 'only to notable people' seems to mean people who already have Wikipedia pages, which is uncomfortably self-referential. I hope it is legitimate for me to edit and add names again and bring the information up to date, without links where they don't already exist. Ndaisley (talk) 15:08, 13 December 2020 (UTC)
