Rabbi Maurice Lamm (born DATE HERE) is an American Rabbi and scholar. He occupies an endowed Chair on Professional Rabbinics at Yeshiva University's Rabbinical Seminary and is President of the National Institute for Jewish Hospice. Lamm is the author of Becoming a Jew, Jewish Way in Death and Mourning, and The Jewish Way in Love and Marriage. He is the brother of Rabbi Norman Lamm, who is presently the Chancellor of Yeshiva University.

Childhood and Education

Lamm's grandfather was Rabbi Yeshoshua Baumol (1880-1948) who authored the Responsa - Emek Halakha.
