I have no idea why McNally's name keeps getting added to the HOF names on the template. Yes, he is in the Hall, and yes he did play for the Steelers, abliet briefly. But McNally played for several teams, and his contributions to the "Stillers" were very minimal. I only included HOF's that made MAJOR contributions or had long careers with the Steelers. McNally's presence is about as much as Johnny Unitas's presence with the San Diego Chargers, or Joe Namath with the Rams, etc... So PLEASE do not put McNally back on the template of HOF's, if that were the case then other HOF's that were briefly with the Steelers (like Unitas or Len Dawson) would have to be on the list as well. I'm not sure what you are reading. In 2005, it was the Bengals who won the AFC North Division. The Steelers only managed to clinch a wild card: the sixth and final seed to the playoffs. They however were able to become the first team since the AFL-NFL merger to win all their playoff games on the road, including the divisional playoff game against the Colts, and the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL to become the NFL league champions. I've deleted the seasons tabs from this template so the Steelers's championship teams template setup will match with all the other championship teams of years past and future. I will now proceed to add the Template:Pittsburgh Steelers seasons to the main Pittsbugh Steelers page and every Pittsburgh Steelers roster page, minus the years they were the "Steagles" and Pitt-Card. There doesn't seem to be a general understanding of what constitutes team "lore" and "culture". I propose that the "culture" be defined as the environment that is present today with the team, while "lore" should reflect more on legends and events of the past. Such as:

Lore: 1974 Draft · 1995 AFC Title game · The 3:16 Game · Black Sunday · The Chief · The Comeback II · Fighting Back · Card-Pitt · Immaculate Interception · Immaculate Reception · Immaculate Redemption · JP Rooneys · Myron Cope · Pennsylvania Keystoners · The Steagles · Steelerettes · Y. Meanwhile articles like Smokey and the Bandit II, the Longest Yard, ...All the Marbles, Evening Shade and Heaven Can Wait - are linked very loosely on the Steelers. For example Smokey and the Bandit II seems to be listed only because Steeler Terry Bradshaw starred in it. So, does this mean Failure to Launch should be listed since he acted in that movie as well? No. The same goes for Joe Greene in ...All the Marbles. Meanwhile the main character of Evening Shade could've be a former player for the Colts, Browns, Cowboys, etc... it wouldn't have any impact on the show's storyline and the show is not even remotely tied to the Steelers history.
