By-elections

If the Wirral South by-election, 1997 is included, and I agree it is significant, is there not also a case for including the Newbury by-election, 1993, which was the first in a series of results that suggested Major's Government's popularity had collapsed after their 1992 win and was significant in the size of its swing? ok I've added it. The Wirral by-election marked the point at which Major's government became a minority government, but there is an argument for including the event that was the turning point for his administration as well. This is Paul (talk) 23:16, 29 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

1994 European Parliament

I have added a link to the 1994 European Parliament election in the UK as that was a national election during Major's leadership of the Conservative Party and Euro elections are recorded in some other British political leaders templates (David Cameron's template for instance).
