going where?

It doesn't go anywhere.

Now after moving it to an appropriate name, it does go somewhere. <bFSAFDFSFSAFSFV VFDAVF>DaGizza Chat (c) 10:25, 24 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Name change?

One editor has changed Kartikeya to Murukan. Both refer to Lord Subrahmanya. Well, the former is known all over India while the latter is known only in a particular State of India. Is the change warranted in a Template? Apnavana 01:20, 11 August 2006 (UTC) BALWAN SINGH —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.92.146.16 (talk) 07:14, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I want to edit this page beacuse I want to add the name of Lord Ayyappan here. He is the son of Vishnu and Shiva. He is a popular deity in Kerala. He has a large temple dedicated to him in Kerala, called Sabarimala. He should also be there on this list as he is a big god.

Lord Ayyappan is a Hindu deity with growing importance. He is the son of Shiva and Vishnu. He should be added to this box. 117.196.140.222 (talk) 10:03, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not done There is already a "more" category at the end and Ayyappan is included in that category. Abelmoschus Esculentus 10:13, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vaahana means vehicle and it doesn't come under the category of a class of beings in Hinduism. However, Kinnaras, Yaavanas and such beings should be made into entries. 49.207.189.97 (talk) 07:52, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Alucard 16❯❯❯ chat? 11:39, 29 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Grāmadevatā

Hello, shouldn't there be a link to Grāmadevatā under the "Other Deities" section. I can't do it since I'm not a registered user. 216.158.244.248 (talk) 00:09, 5 March 2021 (UTC)?[reply]

Add Sangam Literature in "texts". It is umbrella term refered to most Hindu Tamil literature(esp shaivism) between 2nd century BC to 10th century CE. It is very important and prominent texts in south india, sri lanka, southeast asia. Also consider adding Thirukkural there. 157.49.185.57 (talk) 06:37, 20 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit semi-protected}} template. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 02:12, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
