Darrent Williams

I removed his name from the template, he was tragically killed this morning Soxrock 15:10, 1 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seeing as the Broncos still have Darrent Williams on their roster, his name should stay for the meantime...

Official Transactions Page

This is useful for confirming rumors, making sure what the team says they are going to do has officially occurred

The only problem is that page is as unofficial as one you or I could create. Don't be fooled by the fact it's done by NFL.com; it's not official. Pats1 T/C 02:36, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the insight - I'm surprised the NFL's own site does not reflect official transactions. Is there any source which is official? NFLPA? The reason I put this here was the John Lynch release, which does not seem to have "officially" happened (i.e., the paperwork has yet to be filed). Same story with other announcements which may take a while to be enacted. Johnelwayrules (talk) 03:04, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There's not one single place that's totally reliable, although Pro Football Weekly is probably closest.►Chris NelsonHolla! 04:07, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

John Lynch on roster?

This seems to be the type of situation where an agreed-upon reliable source would be useful (rather than a bunch of reverting). The Broncos transaction page at NFL.com does not list Lynch's release, while the Denver Broncos page , also at NFL.com, does not list on the current roster. So, a case could be made either way from the same source! (Note, however, the Denver Post (article) explicitly states the Broncos have yet to fill out paperwork on the case.)Johnelwayrules (talk) 04:59, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oops - looking again, it seem Lynch is listed on the current roster -- So the site does not disagree with itself - never mind!Johnelwayrules (talk) 05:01, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's also in the realm of possibility that Lynch will go to Reserve/Left Camp. Pats1 T/C 19:57, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the Broncos will probably sign someone to replace him once they reserve list him or release him, so that will be a good indication too. Pats1 T/C 19:58, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Brandon Marshall

Marshall has been suspended by the Broncos for contract detrimental to the team. The team said they will suspend him for the rest of the preseason, and unless he's good, some of the regular season.

Would he be on the suspended/reserve list of this template, or would he be on the regular roster? Eagles24/7 15:37, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Regular roster. Team suspensions do not qualify for Reserve/Suspended. Pats1 T/C 15:38, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thanks. Eagles24/7 15:42, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request on 21 March 2012

Brian Dawkins is not listed on the Broncos roster on this page. He is an unrestricted free agent, but he isn't listed here at all.

Not done - Unrestricted free agents are no longer a part of the roster as of March 13. Check any other roster template. No UFA's are included except those who received the franchise tag. RevanFan (talk) 15:36, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
