I suggest that this template be retitled to "Ancient settlements in Turkey". I currently live in one of these "former" settlements along with a few hundred thousand other Kadıköylüler. A great many of the other "former" settlements are directly continued by Turkish settlements today (for example, the ancient ruins of Pergamon are scattered picturesquely round today's lively market town of Bergama). This template is a word salad

This template desperately needs more structure. At the current stage, it is completely unnavigable. Wouldn't it be possible to add some subcategories, say by time period, by founding culture (Greeks, Romans, etc.), or by finer geographic subdivisions? --bender235 (talk) 18:47, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
