The article states that Yoros is an "island country on the continent of Zothique". This phrasing is either poorly written or else in total error. First of all, a note on the wording: a geographical location cannot be an island and simultaneously be part of a continent. That would be a contradiction of terms. If the use of the phrase "island country" is somehow trying to evoke a sense of remoteness or seclusion, etc. then the word should be changed so as to leave no ambiguity. What I think is more likely is that the article is in error. The text implies (and numerous maps of Zothique also show) that Yoros is not an island realm. It is coastal. Returning to the first point, perhaps there should be a note explaining the difference between the continent of Zothique and the "world" or age of Zothique. Obviously, the islands mentioned in the cycle are part of the "world" of Zothique though not part of the land mass (continent) of Zothique. If I am mistaken in any point, please let me know.

Zothique and Poseidonis

They were also featured in Conan the Adventurer and Conan the Savage, which both adapted many Clark Ashton Smith stories.

Zothique in videogames

The setting of the videogame Necropolis by Harebrained Studios is heavily influenced by Smith's works. The continent in which the game takes place is named Zothique, and - although not as part of the gameplay - many other locations are named after Zothique's places, such as Zul Bhasir. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyracul (talkcontribs) 07:59, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
