Adamstom.97 I like your changes, I just wanted to say I think there will still be some benefit to including this wording that I had: It is intended to be part of the television series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, and the first television special, I feel like once we know where it will land in release (for this moment right now, let's say it'll be where it currently is in the table which is tenth) and say it's the tenth "series"/television project released by Marvel Studios. Maybe that's the wording we use, "It is the [nth] television project in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) produced by Marvel Studios, and the first television special". I don't think we should say "[nth] television project" for this article or the series articles, that isn't really useful to readers and seems like Wikipedia imposing itself onto the content. I think we should stick to a count of the series for the series articles and a count for specials starting in this article. We can move the "produced by Marvel Studios" back to the end of the paragraph if that makes more sense: It is intended to be the first television special in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and shares continuity with the films of the franchise. The special is produced by Marvel Studios. We could also add Gunn back to the end in that case, I just moved him to the start since it didn't make sense to have a short sentence about him alone when he is already mentioned, but that's different if we have Marvel Studios at the end again.- adamstom97 (talk) 03:51, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've just added in about Pratt starting filming for Vol. 3. Should we also move this to the mainspace because the special is filming during production of Vol. 3? I don't know if we'll get a "true" start for this since I'd image they are going to be filming content for both as efficient as they can and overlapping, so perhaps we just move this with the info we have? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 21:46, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Currently, the first line of the plot reads, "Some time after bidding farewell with Thor, the Guardians of the Galaxy purchase Knowhere from the Collector and begin to rebuild it." Is there any evidence that they purchased Knowehere specifically after Thor left? I don't think it's mentioned one way or the other. James Gunn said the film "contains a lot of fun new facts about what the Guardians have been up to for all these years". That seems to suggest that they've been running Knowhere for a while. It looks like James Gunn was mistaken (or we misunderstood him), the curated soundtrack with the vocal songs was supposed to come out two days ago, but I'm not seeing it on Spotify or any major music streaming platforms. The closest we have is this, but it's a playlist and not an album, has 74 songs, and includes music from the two Guardians films. In any case, we should follow this order instead of ComicBook.com's. The logo for Troll Court Entertainmemt appears on the credirs. Yet somebody vlsimed that wasn't enough proof the studio co-produced the special. So, I wonder: Does that make sense? I mean, I personally think that "No. Why would the logo appear on the credits if they weren't involved?". But I want a professional opinion. We do need a reliable source stating Troll Court Entertainment co-produced it, as we can't just go off of the credits alone. It can remain in the article if it is tagged with a citation needed template. It appears that Gunn's company works on his television properties, akin to Peacemaker, though a source is still needed. @BMA-Nation2020 Kindly avoid original research. I see Troll Court Entertainment on the credits but its just a logo, nothing indicates what its role on the special. I can agree with Trailblazer101's suggestion above to include it with {{citation needed}}, but maybe with the statement Troll Court Entertaiment is involved in the special's production in the article's Production section will suffice without including it on the infobox until a source indicates its role. We still need a source even if it appears to be blatantly obvious, even if it is in the credits. A logo can mean a variety of involvement, or could just be there for the sake of it being Gunn's production banner. I have found this page from the American Film Institute which lists "Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige Productions, Troll Court Entertainment" under "Unidentified", while this Comic Watch page lists Marvel Studios and Troll Court as production companies, though I am skeptical of its verifiability. I personally wouldn't bother with that. It is nothing important, and given no sources have discussed it, I don't believe we need to investigate. This feels similar to how Fairview (Favreau's company) was credited on the first Iron Man. it was only done because of Favreau's involvement, there wasn't any really financial stake from their involvement. That's what we should be considering in a sense. Shouldn't each cast member either include a break or not include a break? Why would we include a break on some cast members but not others?

I saw an edit note that said something about multiple lines, but on most devices, wouldn't all these characters' summaries be on multiple lines?

For several articles covering the MCU projects, cast lists which exceed the length of one line of text and become more like paragraphs have the line break. It's something that was done to let the cast and characters not get lost in the body of text after them. It differs slightly depending on which device your on, and yes, the character descriptions will be on multiple times, though that is inevitable.
