Hallo. Are you sure, that is acceptable and accurate, if you use for Skol term paramilitary? I can not agree with this. Have you sources for this? Cinik 03:34, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- I cound't find a better word. Paramilitary#Non-combat_paramilitary_organizations had provided fitting definition of paramilitary.
- One of aims of Sokol was to prepare people for army service. Part of X. slet was Den brannosti [1] and other rituals. Being a Sokol was a ticket to get accepted into the guard.
- The organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has some traits similar to Sokol and has been described as paramilitary (and other epithets as well). Pavel Vozenilek 00:19, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, but paramilitary mean, that organisation have a strukture and targets similar to military structure and targets. It is not this case. Yes, Sokol was czech sports organisation with accent on patriotism. Yes, Sokol prepared men for military service too. But it is no cause for application of word "paramilitary".
