question?

I am curious. Does "tragically in 2002" that sentence about his stroke, violate NPOV? It seems to... or are things like the death of anyone allowed to use such language.

Hm, that's an interesting question. -Bordello 17:04, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I guess, if you're glad that he had a stroke I suppose....

Picture

Can we get a new picture? This neither accurately depicts Lane, nor am I sure it is within fair-use policy. In fact, I'm just going to take it off. -Bordello 17:04, 9 August 2006 (UTC) Well, maybe not. It might be important to note that he was a character on Celebrity Death Match, but it seems at least a disservice to have the only picture of him here as a poor claymation characature, caught through a screenshot with the background all buggered. -Bordello 17:06, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree about this pic. It is maybe of note that he was a character on death match, but to use that as the main pic for the entry is not only in poor taste but also misleading. I will remove it.

I also agree and his Celebrity Deathmatch voice work should not be in the first sentence basic summary of him. Quadzilla99 19:15, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
i added a real picture maybe we can put that CD one back now tooYourname 00:04, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Character

I thunk there should be an article about the Celebrity Deathmatch character.

Fights

I think the link to the fights he officiated would be nice...

He officiated over Tyson's first title fight when he captured the WBC heavyweight championship on 11/22/86 from Berbick. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Coloursinmyhead (talkcontribs) 03:57, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit notice change

Note that Template:Editnotices/Page/Mills Lane mentions biographies of living persons, but he is now dead. I have previously replaced the edit notice with a different one, but that was in contravention of an editing restriction that I had forgotten about. To rectify the situation, I've reverted myself and I'm now seeking any consensus about what, if any, editnotice this page should have. Thanks and sorry. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 18:44, 20 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
