I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Matt Murdock (Marvel Cinematic Universe)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I was looking at the NwH section of the article and I noticed that there is a note saying not to add that. Why isn't that important? This section is about him helping Peter Parker, and the film concludes with him no longer remembering Peter Parker. I think it is essential. Are there any objections to this? It's not a notable personal character development for Matt. It hardly affects him in any significant way we know of the same way it affected MJ, Ned and Happy. If at some point they choose to explore the impact it had on Matt, we can add it. Fair enough. Although, while I do believe we will eventually see Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Peter Parker/Spider-Man onscreen together again in MCU, I don't think the spell or erasure of memory will be brought up in dialogue but can be presumed via context. --Osh33m (talk) 14:05, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This being the MCU, if the writers want to come up with some surprise mechanism by which the spell didn't effect Murdoch, they will. You may recall how, during the airing of WandaVision, everyone saw Wanda steal Vision's body from S.W.O.R.D. headquarters. Except that it was later revealed that she never did, she left the body there and created a mental construct of Vision later. Even seeing would not quite be believing here. Like I said, unless this is explicitly shown onscreen, as in via a flashback (which is highly unlikely, in my opinion), it is trivial and technically OR for us to note that. That kind of WP:FANCRUFTy info is best left for the fan wiki. InfiniteNexus (talk) 03:44, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
