Old discussion

We should do this for every Kingdom Hearts game!

Yeah, but it says "List of Kingdom Hearts characters", I mostly see KH2 and KHCOM, not the original........ —Preceding unsigned comment added by S.A.B.Z (talkcontribs)
Well maybe but it does have all of the characters pretty much because mostly all of the levels and characters from the original and from the others r on the list... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.0.228.169 (talkcontribs)
when it says Kingdom Hearts it means the whole series not one particular game and i still say that Riku replica article desrves its own page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paul@wiki (talkcontribs)
What does Riku Replica need his own article for? He's in one game, and has very little chracter development…—urutapu 16:21, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
The whole point of the Riku replica is that he represenets the old Riku who used darkness freely he has to part with his own self. Plus his charater develops a bit more than that. As for the one game thing the same goes for Vexen, Lexaeus, Zexion, Marluxia and Larxene why dont you condense their articles? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paul@Wiki (talkcontribs)
SIGN YOUR COMMENTS. And the Organization members are fine. They're all one ONE PAGE. Your point = nil.—urutapu 00:40, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
If my point is nil that means the full article should be moved to the list in its ENTIRETY. Wether or not they are all one page some of the org members got as much space as the replica article in their list page. Also its hard to develop a character who acts mostly as a symbol in both parts of the game not to mention having his memories rewritten for a large part of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paul@Wiki (talkcontribs)
God. Now you're just being a brat. Is vandalizing someone else's post necessary?
Well, look at it this way. Riku Replica has no effect on Kingdom Hearts II and is never ever mentioned.—urutapu 13:41, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
If you're actually grown up enough to have a proper disscussion ill point out that this is an article for KH COM not 1 or 2 also do you know who wrote on rock titans article "he sucks balls"?-User:paul@wiki
While were on the subject of kingdom hearts can somebody add a link to ffinsider.net they have the full musical score for 1& 2 i would but i have exams for the next month-User:paul@wiki
You mean link to illegal content? No. And does it matter who wrote the Rock Titan thing? Just revert it...—urutapu 03:05, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
Since im pretty sure it was you who wrote it and you are acussing me of being a brat i think it does matter -{{paul@wiki/urutapu is wrong}}
Ill consent to mergin if you include a link in vexen and zexion's articles -paul@wiki
I have so many better things to do than some stupid vandalism like that...you can check who did it with the edit history you know, but it's likely just an anon. And links to Vexen and Zexion...where? *sweatdrop*—urutapu 13:50, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Summon Characters

I feel kind of weird leaving that section in the article as it is. Most of the characters there also have their own sections so it's kind of weird to add them in again. Maybe merge with the Other Princesses of Heart section into a larger section of characters who don't have an associated world? Axem Titanium 06:20, 30 June 2006 (UTC)

Speaking of summons, who are the KH2 summons? Therequiembellishere 04:55, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
In the order you're most likely to get them: Chicken Little, Genie , Stitch and Peter Pan. I completely forgot about Chicken Little, I had to go look it up. >< SirMeh 18:17, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

Move

I moved Moogles to Main Characters. Since all the other categories are divided by worlds that seems the most apt. place to put them- paul@wiki

Hmmmm... I really wouldn't put them in with the main characters. Perhaps we should readd the minor characters section and merge the Other Princesses of Heart and Summon sections into it? Axem Titanium 04:08, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Its up to you-paul@wiki p.s geg is wrong about evryhting

...Who's geg? Axem Titanium 07:53, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
Someone he seems to have trouble "containing". He's one of the three regular Organization XIII editors, along with me and Apostrophe.—ウルタプ 00:46, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Ah. So that relates to this... how? Axem Titanium 01:10, 3 July 2006 (UTC)
Paul@wiki simply can't have Geg asserting correct, albeit inferred, information on the Organization XIII page regarding the time of Roxas's fusion with Sora.—ウルタプ 01:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

Merlin

Axem Titanium, don't you realize that Merlin's world being destroyed by the Heartless is true?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.200.116.6 (talkcontribs)

Where's it said his world was destroyed? He could be a native of Hollow Bastion for all we know.—ウルタプ 22:32, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

What the heck is wrong with you? Don't you happen to know Merlin isn't actually born in Hollow Bastion? Hollow Bastion didn't take place in the 1963 animated Film, plus the Fairly God Mother said her world had disapearred, TOO, and she's with Merlin, so his real world would be destroyed by the heartless.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.200.116.6 (talkcontribs)

Everyone in Traverse Town ended up there because their world was destroyed. However, not everyone who's world was destroyed all made it there. Like the 99 dalmation puppies who ended up being scattered. -SaturnYoshi THE VOICES 23:36, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
Okay, one--The Fairy Godmother and Merlin are from different movies. Second, if you want that dialogue ("too") thing to make a point, give me more specific dialogue; she could have been comparing herself to Sora (who also lost his world), not Merlin. And I don't care much for your attitude.—ウルタプ 23:51, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

I never said Merlin was from Hollow Bastion, or anywhere for that matter. Lets examine the facts:

  • Nowhere does it ever say that Merlin's world was destroyed.
  • Merlin himself never talks about his own world, destroyed or otherwise.
  • King Mickey asked him to train Sora, implying that they knew each other before. This may suggest that he is from Disney Castle.
  • The events that occur in the animated films are NOT CANON in Kingdom Hearts. For example, Gaston, Abis Mal, Stromboli and etc. DO NOT EXIST in the Kingdom Hearts universe (unless they are added in future installments). This also goes for events not explicitly documented by the games. A notable exception to this, Auron is implied to have completed his first pilgrimage to Zanarkand based on the events of Olympus Coliseum in KH2.

Based on these facts, I can definitively say that adding your "destroyed by Heartless" blurb would be unsourced speculation. Axem Titanium 00:20, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

The game didn't show or mention that Aurora's world was destroyed by the hearless then why do you want Wiki to say Aurora's world WAS destroyed by the Heartless?

Keyblade Confusion

I was reading the section on Roxas and I couldn't help but notice that it said he was created when Sora stabbed himself with the "Dark Keyblade". I don't beleive that the Keyblade Riku/Amsem/Xehanort made from the Princess' hearts is ever officially refered to as such. Additionally, the term Dark Keyblade could easily be attributed to King Mickey's Keyblade, the Keyblade of the Realm of Darkness. Unless Dark Keyblade is not a fan name and has been officially named such I think that there is probably a more suitable name for it. Ya, it's not that big a deal but I thought I'd point it out.

Fixed. But please SIGN YOUR COMMENTS by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your message. Axem Titanium 23:38, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

Shouldn't there be a Keyblades Section made to clear confusions? As in all keyblades listed in Cronoligical order. Sorry new member -Megaman556 21:37, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Unfortunately, we're limited on the amount of specific game information we can include in the articles. Too much and the articles become more like game guides and unencyclopedic. When that happens they go down in article rating. Information like that is normally added to Strategy Wiki. (Guyinblack25 talk 22:12, 12 September 2007 (UTC))

Voice cast page

As per AfD, I've deleted the Voice cast in the Kingdom Hearts series page, but I've archived its talk page here under Talk:List of characters in the Kingdom Hearts series/Voice cast, in case somebody wants it. Fut.Perf. 08:55, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

settings

should the setting of the game really be considered characters?68.223.46.108 07:52, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Other characters

Shouldnt the Hostile Program be in here? I mean it is considered a character in Jiminy's journal. Xer

No. It showed up and got killed. There is nothing to say about it. Axem Titanium 22:34, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Donald

Donald has too much info for this page. It should go on his but the... People... There wonln't allow it. What should we do? Lego3400: The Sage of Time 16:28, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

No, Donald has a fine amount of detail for this page. If it is thought to be excessive by others watching this page, then feel free to start "Donald Duck in video games" or "Donald Duck in Kingdom Hearts". The excessive detail on this one game does not belong in the general article on the character. It goes here, or at one of the suggested titles above. — BrianSmithson 22:15, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
No, please don't start those pages, it would be very very bad. Donald's info is fine. Axem Titanium 00:10, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

Split

Should we split the page? It is a bit long. Icez 19:39, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

A bit?! Atomic45 10:37, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Minor characters

I think we should have a Major and minor characters page.Therequiembellishere 22:03, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

Soldier

There is a character listed here called "Enigmatic Soldier"... my question is, is that a place-holder name? My reason for believeing this is the fact it has two " symbols around it, although if it is a place-holder name I would say it should be called "Enigmatic Knight". BassxForte 03:21, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

The kanji are nazo no senshi (謎の戦士). He may be said to look like a knight, but senshi is most commonly translated as "soldier" or "warrior."—ウルタプ 03:29, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

You know, in apperance, they kinda remind me of the knight on Xemnas's ship thing, just my two cents BassxForte 17:11, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Speaking of which, the section regarding him has been removed as of this writing. I don't know why that is, but I would guess that we don't really know much about him except that he was one of the knights of the secret ending, that we fight him in some desert-like location (likely the desert from the trailer( and judging from the way the menu looks, it's probably another world)), that he has around 16 HP bars, and some other things that might not be worth citing. We could bring it back up, but the game will be released in less than a week, so I think it might be better to wait until then to add a section about him.

It's the same for the bald guy and the man in the heartless suit; we know nothing about their roles in the story yet, so there's nothing to say besides pointless speculation, which is not what Wikipedia is for.HadesDragon 21:56, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

Im gonna assume once the player defeats him he will appear in Jimmy's Journal, and we can get a few more facts ab out him. BassxForte 01:13, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

I think you're right about that, once the game comes out I'll scour the internet for realible sources and see what I can find.HadesDragon 21:45, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, from what I can gather from the new secret ending, the ES in question is the first one that appears during Sunset Horizons (the one with the "rabbit ears"), that his hair somewhat resembles Xehanort's, that his eyes changed color, along with some other things. Still not enough clear information though, so I won't add anything. I'm surprised this page hasn't been vandalized yet, what with the ending leaking all over the internet.

I'll keep checking to see about any new information and will keep discussing possible changes.HadesDragon 02:45, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Oh, crud. KH-Vids.net just posted a video of a battle against him. From this, we have been able to verify at least one more thing: that we reach him through a portal in Disney Castle. I don't think it's enough info though, I'll wait for a realiable translation of what he's saying first.HadesDragon 20:17, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

I found a video on youtube that it probably offical, (but I offer very little trust to youtube) that shows three soldiers fighting someone dressed like Xehanort's Heartless. BassxForte 02:53, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, that's official. It's the extended scret ending for II Final Mix (like how "Another side, Another story..." was extended to "[deep dive]").—ウルタプ 02:58, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

There are three soldiers, two boys and one girl, at least the maximum number that we know of is three. BassxForte 23:13, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Oh, and the guy dressed like Xehanort's heartless can't actually be Xehanort's heartless, mainly because Xehanort's heartless had no facial hair and a full head of hair, while this cosplayer is bald with a goatee. (A big goatee) BassxForte 21:19, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

Regarding the Xehanort section

Apparently someone has edited that section, putting in some speculation from the new Secret Ending. I will take that out, because while it is true, we should not say anything until we have more facts.HadesDragon 19:33, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Already done, actually, and I re-worded the previous sentence for grammar (poor capitalization) and to include Final Mix's extended version of the secret movie. Hope I haven't stepped on your toes or anything by doing that. ^^; Nique talk 19:37, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

No, no, it's fine, thank you for doing that. Also, something else: someone has created entries for the new secret ending characters. I think we should take those down because there are mixed opinions about their appearances and roles (some people think the blue-haired person looks like Zexion, for instance).HadesDragon 19:48, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. Speculation should be kept down to a bare minimum, and putting it in is only going to cause edit wars and a degradation in the quality of the article as a result. Nique talk 19:50, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Very well then, I'll remove the sections regarding the characters. Once more details about the ES boss fight comes out, I think it would be safe to add him, but right now we know next to nothing about the battle.HadesDragon 19:56, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Re-added the Enigmatic Soldier, using info from the translated opening scene. Also added a warning not to add any speculative info on the KH3 trailer.Fractyl

Hmmm, okay, that section looks good enough to be there. Very neutral and informative. But can we really be sure he suffered some form of memory loss? Sounds a bit like speculation...that's just me though.

I won't do anything, so don't worry.HadesDragon 22:52, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

Peddler/Merchant

It says he makes a minor appearance, and I'm assuming that's in Agrabah, but I can't really find him anywhere, so I'm wondering if this is a rumour or if you have to complete certain goals, which I think should be noted. 71.127.0.178 03:28, 1 April 2007 (UTC)Tai112

He's in Aladdin's house at some during the world's story. ' 04:27, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

Jiminy Entry for Enigmatic Soldier

http://img456.imageshack.us/img456/3909/pic0057ud3.jpg

It's pretty bad, but I doubt this is fake, you can see the knight's keyblade there and everything. Apparently it refers to him as a "Lingering Spirit" in the title and as an "Enigmatic Man" in the description. It also says his mastery of the keyblade's powers were superior to Sora. That was the translation I was able to find, at any rate (I would be glad if anyone was able to prove the authenticity of the screenshot and the translation).

Should we change his name to Lingering Spirit or keep it as Nazo no Senshi? I'm partial to changing it as Nazo no Senshi is just from Shonen Jump and Lingering Spirit is IN the game, but hey...HadesDragon 17:35, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

"Lingering Spirit" is not in the game. Whatever the Japanese name is is. I can't really be bothered to look for the Kanji, though. ' 18:35, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

If you say so. I think we can at least add that we reach him through Disney Castle...HadesDragon 18:58, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Well, I added the bit about him being reached through Disney Castle, and the fact that if you come back to fight him again, he tells Sora he doesn't have anything else to give him, and the only thing he has left is his hatred for Xehanort. I saw this in the Xehanort article too...the bit about hatred.

If you feel the section should be edited, feel free to do so.HadesDragon 19:43, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

Soldier's Names

I just found out that Tetsuya Nomura did name the other Keyblade Knights from the KH2: FM+ secret trailer. The blonde knights name is Ven which means "Wind", and the female knights name is Aqua which means... well "water". The Enigmatic soldiers name is unknown but it means "Earth". I was just thinking about telling these names to you guys.

Yeah, I read about that. But just wait a little bit. We don't know if the ES/Tomarishi Shinen's name means earth YET, even though I'd bet that's very likely the case.

In any case, I honestly don't know if we should bother adding either of them to the page at all, although I don't think it unreasonable to mention them in the TS's section.HadesDragon 20:57, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Better off waiting until they actually appear in the games. ' 01:59, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

The Enimatic soldier's name is Terra. Tetsuya Nomura announced it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.34.113.137 (talk) 19:49, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

About the Tomarishi Shinen section

So apparently Apostrophe removed a few meaningless details from it, but I honestly think the fact that the Tomarishi Shinen can make his keyblade change its shape to act as various other things deserves mention, as nobody else in the series thus far has been able to dos so.HadesDragon 21:00, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

I think we would be better off waiting until we know why. The main reason I reverted was because we don't give this much attention and detail to other characters that have more established backstory, like Tarzan, Simba, et al. Strikes me as a bad case of bias. ' 01:59, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Well, okay, if you say so, we'll wait.HadesDragon 13:45, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Semi-Protection

I'm putting this artcle as semi-protection because someone just kept edit some info on Aqua's infomation and other characters info. John254 already gave this person a warning. If this is mistack, then please feel free to remove it. Thank you. --Girla PurpleHeart 19:35, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

The Aqua and Ven sections

They need to be removed, methinks. Besides being written in a fairly undesirable way, they contain speculation and unproven claims. I think it'd be better if we waited for them to appear in an actual GAME first.HadesDragon 23:05, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

I agree they were written badly, I think it would be better to just make one small section about all 3 knights, or one about the Enigmatic Soldier like there already is, and the a combined one for Aqua & Ven.--67.174.128.249 00:10, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Those claims have been proven now. Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed their names to be Terra, Aqua and Ven, and I think that's good enough reason for them to stay now. Jienum 21:07, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
No, it's not. Those characters have never appeared in an actual game. When they're out of some meaningless and contextless trailer, we'll talk. ' 21:41, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Apostrophe. If I find any Aqua/Ven sections on the article, I'm removing them. Let's please wait for them to appear in an actual game first...HadesDragon 22:11, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Well, Aqua's armour appears in a cutscene in Final Mix+, so that should count for the least. Another thing is, that trailer is not necessarily meaningless and contextless if it's a secret video for the next installment. This is not a case of speculation. Those knights' names have been confirmed as Terra, Aqua and Ven, and if they appear in a secret trailer, they should have at least some mention. If not their own sections, then they should at least be mentioned in the Terra section ("Terra is seen along with two other knights", for instance). We shouldn't really treat them as if they don't exist. Jienum 12:51, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Regarding Terra's section

Should we mention the fact that his name means "earth" in latin, in comparison to Riku's "land"? I think it's notable enough.HadesDragon 13:58, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

About the desert we fight Terra in

According to this(http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=16515), it's called "Gathering Place". Should that be added, or is it irrelevant?HadesDragon 17:26, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

"Gathering Place" doesn't really tell us anything. If it was "Chicken Nest", it wouldn't be any different. ' 02:23, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
