Philippe Thys (born 30 August 1959) is a French former professional footballer who played as a full-back.[2] Across a fifteen-year professional career, he made 392 Division 1 appearances and twenty-five Division 2 appearances.[citation needed]

Post-playing career

Following his retirement, Thys worked as a youth coach from 1997 to 1998 at his former club Toulon.[3] He then became a scout, working for Strasbourg from 2001 to 2006 and Monaco from 2006 to 2010. In 2014, Thys joined Tubize as the head of recruitment. In 2017, he became Tubize's manager, a position he stayed in until 2019.[4]
