English: Grand Canal from the Palazzo Balbi. In the distance the Rialto Bridge, bell tower of the San Bartolomeo Church, and dome of the Church of Santi Giovanni e Paolo can be seen. In the foreground, the paleto of the traditional Ventian regatta is taking place, which is why the boats are turning around and the crowds are cheering.
