Description
English: Paiting from the permanent exhibition of the Museum of National History, Frederiksborg in Denmark. It was made for the museum around 1880 by the Danish painter C.N. Overgaard. It depicts the Danish and English king Harthacnut (Hardeknud) who reigned Denmark 1035-1042 and England 1035-37 (southern part of the country) & 1040-1042.
