Draft:Dallas Dixon

  • Comment: The referencing is still not sufficient to get him over WP:GNG.
His notability cannot be established by "staff" profiles on the self-published websites of organizations he's been directly affiliated with, so #1 is not usable at all; #5 and #6 aren't coverage about him, but just quote him as a provider of short soundbites about other things, and thus don't establish notability; and #7 is a corporate press release from his own former employer, and thus does not establish notability.
What we have for valid sourcing is #2, #3 and #4 -- but #2 is coverage coming from his own former employer, #3 just briefly namechecks him in a list of award winners, and #4 is a Q&A interview in which he's answering questions about himself in the first person. So they're all okay to use, but they don't add up to enough if they're the only acceptable sources he's got. We need to see more evidence of coverage about him (not just mentioning his name), written in the third person (not him talking about himself or something else in his own words) in media besides his own employers. • Comment: None of the reliable sources, save one of them, actually are about Dallas Dixon. They only mention him in passing. Mere passing mentions of a subject are not enough to establish notability. Also, Instagram is not a reliable source. Please ask the people at Teahouse to better understand what sources that establish notability should look like. You should have an invite to talk to them on your user talk page. aaronneallucas (talk) 21:48, 25 December 2023 (UTC)
