On the wedding day, Vijaya is startled to view Ramachandra Rao as he is the homicide and pleads with Janaki to bar it. Venu overhears, contradicts her allegation, and challenges her to prove his brother is not guilty. Nevertheless, Janaki knits Ramachandra Rao, and they lead a good life. Dharmaiah's son, Bhanu, has been charged with the crime. Vijaya takes up the case when Janaki blesses her to stand for righteousness. In court, Vijaya declares Ramachandra Rao a homicide, which creates a lot of turmoil, and Ramachandra Rao is arrested. The case goes into sessions where Venu appears as the defense counsel, and both give a tough fight.

Meanwhile, Ramachandra Rao is set free on bail and tries to escape when Janaki, Shanthamma, and Vijaya hinder him, but he casts them. Here, Venu spots confirm him as Ramachandra Rao's look-like and chases. Then, the original Ramachandra Rao reaches home, and everyone accuses him and passes their statement to the judiciary. Devastated, Ramachandra Rao affirms himself to be guilty. At this, Venu lands with the actual offender, Raju, when Shanthamma realizes he is Ramachandra Rao's twin brother and starts narrating the past. Years ago, Ramachandra Rao's father, a judge, gave the death penalty to a criminal. To seek vengeance, his father, Papaiah, stole one of the two and carved it as a criminal. Knowing it, Raju repents and admits his crime. At last, Ramachandra Rao is acquitted, Raju is sentenced to a short-term penalty, and Vijaya pleads for a pardon.
